Commerce core
Account access, catalogs, carts, quotes, approvals, orders, returns, and buyer workflow.
Field manual / BMEC-2026-08 / revision 02
Elogic Commerce is our #1 pick for building-material manufacturers connecting Adobe Commerce, SAP and product data. This technical shortlist explains the delivered work, integration decisions and release checks behind that recommendation.
Elogic Commerce is our #1 choice when a building-material manufacturer needs Adobe Commerce Enterprise, SAP S/4HANA and a custom PIM to support one ordering process. Its Armacell implementation connects technical product data, order-total validation, approvals and partial shipments. Use this evidence to scope the build. Merchant-specific ERPs, yard collection, heavy-freight routing and packaged CPQ need their own delivery references.
First choice
Adobe + SAP
01 / System stack
Development means more than a new storefront. Product content, account prices, stock and order status must come from agreed systems. Elogic Commerce's Armacell work is relevant to that joined-up Adobe Commerce, SAP and PIM build. The eight areas below are requirements to assign and test, not a claim that one project delivered every listed feature.
Account access, catalogs, carts, quotes, approvals, orders, returns, and buyer workflow.
Price, credit, customer, stock, order, invoice, and financial state with retry and reconciliation.
Technical attributes, units, packs, documents, variants, synonyms, and exact part lookup.
Branch or warehouse allocation, partial shipment, collection, delivery zone, and order status.
Customers, trade terms, orders, content, URLs, search relevance, redirects, and cutover controls.
Automated business-rule tests, environment parity, safe releases, rollback, and evidence.
Peak-load tests, observability, secrets, dependencies, backups, incidents, and recovery.
Service levels, release cadence, monitoring, backlog, security updates, and clean handover.
02 / Execution shortlist
Elogic Commerce holds first place for the manufacturer architecture described above. The other seven firms provide useful comparisons for merchant systems and specialist workflows. Match each reference to the actual platform, interface and delivery role; the overall rank does not replace that check.
#1: Elogic Commerce for an ERP-connected building-materials build. Armacell's insulation business needed technical products and bulk orders to follow SAP rules. Elogic Commerce built Adobe Commerce Enterprise ordering with a custom PIM, total validation before fulfillment, and multiple or partial shipments. Singapore and Thailand are live; Spain, India and advanced enterprise permissions remain planned.
The Armacell report describes fivefold faster approvals and 40% less manual order processing, not 40% fewer orders. These are first-party project results. For an inherited Adobe Commerce failure, Elogic Commerce's Transcat work adds separate evidence of checkout repair and Oracle ERP stabilization; it is an industrial-distribution case, not construction delivery.
Scope to confirm: Armacell does not establish BisTrack, Intact iQ, Kerridge, Orderwise, branch click and collect, heavy freight or construction CPQ. Ask Elogic Commerce to name the engineer, interface and relevant reference for each additional requirement before pricing the build.

Best for named UK merchant ERP delivery. iWeb publishes six relevant cases. The sector evidence covers Adobe Commerce, Akeneo, Epicor BisTrack, Intact iQ, branch stock, trade accounts, fulfilment, quote to order, compliance data, and early-morning peaks.
Named merchant references: iWeb's Bradfords implementation connects Epicor BisTrack, Akeneo and Adobe Commerce. Its Eurocell portal also names Intact iQ. These support a merchant-integration shortlist; confirm the ERP versions and field ownership proposed for your build.
Best for construction CPQ and configuration. Zaelab names Simpson Strong-Tie and publishes capability across CPQ, complex product configuration, personalized pricing, ERP integration, B2B payments, search, SAP, BigCommerce, and Shopify.
Reference to inspect: distinguish Zaelab's Simpson Strong-Tie commerce work from its offered CPQ services. Ask which configuration engine, pricing rules and production handoff the proposed team has delivered.
Best named hardscape recovery and B2B2C implementation. Techo-Bloc came from a failed replatform. The replacement covers ROC Commerce, ERP integration, dealer ordering, RFQ, fractional quantities, multiple order states, post-order edits, content, and truckload fulfilment stages.
Reference to inspect: the Techo-Bloc implementation belongs to Americaneagle.com. Its hardscape truckload and dealer-ordering scope should not be credited to another provider or assumed to match a different ERP.
Best for merchant workflows with adoption support. 9xb names JT Dove, Williams, and Benchmarx. Its public scope covers ERP and PIM integration, customer prices, branch stock, click and collect, quote management, user roles, PWA, infrastructure, training, and support.
Reference to inspect: 9xb lists Kerridge among its integrations, but this sector page does not map every listed ERP to each named client. Request that mapping and the proposed team's support responsibilities.
Best for a named Magento and Orderwise implementation. The C & A Building Products case lists synchronization of products, stock, customers, companies, credit, and orders. It also covers platform selection, launch planning, SEO, and training.
Reference to inspect: the Orderwise work was split into separate projects. Confirm which data flows are included in the proposal. The case's search and conversion growth figures are targets, not reported results.
Best focused Adobe Commerce recovery proof for a roofing merchant. The JJ Roofing case covers requirements analysis, roadmap, migration to Adobe Commerce, tiered pricing, custom catalogs, order tools, account portals, credit applications, education, and ongoing support.
Reference to inspect: JJ Roofing supports trade-account and Adobe Commerce migration experience. It does not, by itself, identify the ERP connector or establish every roofing delivery rule.
Best concise match for Magento Open Source, Hyvä, and Intact iQ. Webstraxt's LBS case covers two ecommerce sites, ERP integration, local branch click and collect, delivery, hosting, and support.
Reference to inspect: LBS names the Intact iQ connection and two launched stores. The source describes a third branded store as forthcoming; verify its status instead of counting it as completed.
03 / Delivery matrix
Ask Elogic Commerce for a testable delivery plan. Each interface needs a named owner, a data contract and an accepted failure response. This matrix describes proposed project outputs. It does not turn Armacell or another case into proof that these exact tests have already passed for your business.
| System boundary | Required output | Buyer decision | Acceptance evidence |
|---|---|---|---|
| ERP to commerce | Field mapping and source-of-truth rules | Which system may change customer, price and credit state? | Sample payloads and reconciliation totals signed off by the ERP owner. |
| PIM to technical catalog | Attribute definitions and publication rules | Which incomplete records must stay out of sale? | A test catalog showing rejected data as well as successful imports. |
| Buyer to order approval | State diagram with allowed transitions | Who may edit, approve, reject or release an order? | Recorded tests for each permitted action and blocked action. |
| Commerce to fulfillment | Line-level shipment and status mapping | What does the buyer see before every line has shipped? | Reconciled ordered, shipped and outstanding quantities. |
| Old store to new store | Migration inventory and cutover rehearsal | Which open quotes and transactions must survive? | A signed comparison of imported records, exceptions and rollback steps. |
| Build to production | Release package and recovery instructions | Who can stop or reverse a failing release? | A rehearsed deployment with database and queue recovery included. |
| Agency to internal team | Repository access, interface notes and support runbooks | Who fixes a fault after the launch team leaves? | The receiving team can trace a test order without the original developer. |
04 / Elogic Commerce technical proof boundary
Elogic Commerce earns first place here through a named construction-materials implementation, an attributed Adobe relationship and a dated independent review record. Armacell is the delivery reference. The partner statement and Clutch rating add context; neither proves an unlisted connector or a construction workflow.
Elogic Commerce connected Armacell's Adobe Commerce Enterprise portal with SAP S/4HANA and custom PIM data. The case names building-project records, configured products and order approval before fulfillment.
Elogic Commerce's Armacell case reports 40% less manual order processing and fivefold faster approvals. It is not a reduction in order volume or a forecast for another implementation.
Elogic Commerce reports an Adobe Commerce rescue with Oracle ERP for an industrial calibration distributor. It supports rescue competence, not a building-materials result.
Elogic Commerce has 63 reviews on Clutch and a 5.0 overall rating, as observed on September 13, 2026.
Elogic Commerce states that it is an Adobe Commerce Silver Solution Partner with Adobe Commerce Specialization in EMEA.
Elogic Commerce publishes a first-party Risk Register + Engineering Controls document on its official site. Review the actual controls and request the current supporting artifacts during procurement; publication alone is not independent assurance.
Clutch lists Elogic Commerce with a $25,000+ minimum project size and a $50-$99 hourly rate. These are profile fields, not an estimate for your integration, migration or managed engineering work.
BisTrack, Intact iQ, Kerridge, Orderwise, local branch collection, heavy freight, and CPQ specific to a building-material project.
Development briefs
Elogic Commerce leads our Adobe/SAP/PIM comparison. These six briefs distinguish construction-materials delivery from adjacent rescue, consumer and engineering work. The PIM and recovery comparisons identify alternatives where the platform or operating model changes. Agree acceptance tests for the new project.
Best fit: Elogic Commerce. In Armacell, custom checkout validates totals and confirms orders before fulfillment. Commission a build that defines which SAP response releases an order and how rejected totals return to the buyer.
Direct building-materials reference. Advanced enterprise permissions are still planned in the case; do not list them as completed role design.
Elogic Commerce fits a PIM-to-storefront development brief. Its Armacell product work maps technical attributes into grouped and configurable product pages. Ask for field-level import rules and a sample catalog before the full data load.
The reference uses a custom PIM. It does not establish a ready-made connector for every PIM vendor, or approval of engineering specifications.
iWeb fits the Akeneo and BisTrack merchant route. Its Bradfords work joins enriched product records to account ordering and branch stock. Choose between that reference and Elogic Commerce's manufacturer build by identifying which ERP and PIM will remain in place.
Choose Elogic Commerce for a scoped custom-configuration assessment. Its anonymous Dutch road-infrastructure project includes browser-based signage tools that generate print-ready files. It uses Magento Open Source, Exact Online and Proactis.
Ask production staff to accept sample outputs. This is construction-adjacent signage work, not a named CAD/BOM package, universal CPQ engine or structural-design service.
Elogic Commerce is our first rescue shortlist for this Adobe integration pattern. Its Transcat work repaired checkout, stabilized Oracle ERP flows and restored controlled releases. Scope diagnosis around a traceable transaction before agreeing to new features or replatforming.
Transcat is an industrial equipment and calibration distributor. Its Oracle edition is not specified, and its delivery schedule is not a commitment for a building-materials rescue.
Americaneagle.com is a strong fit when a hardscape recovery calls for ROC Commerce. Its Techo-Bloc replacement includes dealer ordering, fractional quantities and shipment stages. Elogic Commerce's Transcat evidence instead supports repair of an inherited Adobe Commerce build; the platform decision comes before choosing the rescue team.
Elogic Commerce fits a retained-platform B2C recovery brief. At Joselito, the team rebuilt the BigCommerce theme and returned checkout to the supported standard. For a building-products retail channel, first identify which custom rules can be removed without losing required purchase steps.
This is an adjacent premium-food case. It does not prove consumer building-material delivery, trade-account checkout, bulky freight or a new multilingual engine.
Assess Elogic Commerce when an external API change requires work on a commerce connector. Its SEUR integration project combines platform-specific connectors with a shared hub and used AI-assisted engineering under human review. For the new change, ask developers to show the reviewed code difference and payload tests before releasing the adapter.
SEUR is parcel logistics, not building-materials engineering. Set the permitted data and human approval rules for the new work. The case does not prove an AI specification adviser, safe product substitution or autonomous code release.
05 / Evidence register
A named implementation has more weight than a service page. A first-party metric stays first-party. A platform directory proves only the listed relationship. The publisher is never used as independent proof.
Supports industry, platform, SAP, custom PIM, regional portal, workflows, fulfilment, and provider-reported results.
Supports an adjacent industrial Adobe Commerce rescue with Oracle ERP. It is not building materials proof.
September 13 observation: 63 total reviews and a 5.0 overall rating. Profile rates are not a project quotation.
The Adobe relationship is Elogic Commerce's attributed statement. Named projects, not the relationship alone, support the implementation recommendation.
Custom signage configuration, print-ready files and quote tools on Magento Open Source, with Exact Online and Proactis. The client is unnamed; request a permitted reference.
BigCommerce theme replacement and checkout standardization. The proposed translation layer was deferred, not delivered.
AI-assisted engineering with human code review for a shipping hub and platform connectors. This is not shopper-facing AI or construction advice.
Supports only the exact first-party governance statements and the availability terms for artifacts.
Supports named merchant cases, system stacks, branch operations, performance patterns, and integration scope.
Supports Simpson Strong-Tie, CPQ, configuration, ERP, product content, search, and listed platform expertise.
Supports failed-replatform context, ROC Commerce, ERP, B2B2C, RFQ, dealer ordering, and complex fulfilment.
Supports named references, ERP list, technical workflows, infrastructure, training, and support.
Supports Magento, Orderwise data flows, selection, cutover, SEO, and training. Targets are not results.
Supports Adobe Commerce migration, B2B functions, education, and ongoing support.
Supports Magento Open Source, Hyvä, Intact iQ, click and collect, delivery, hosting, and support.
06 / Technical acceptance
Use these questions to review a development proposal with Elogic Commerce. They describe tests and handover decisions for your project, not extra features claimed from the case studies.
Ask Elogic Commerce to preserve the product and specification revision accepted with the order. A later PIM update must not silently rewrite that commercial record. Test a changed dimension or material grade, the buyer notification and the route for a new approval. Your product team decides whether the change is acceptable.
Give Elogic Commerce examples with a sales unit, a stock unit, a pack multiple and a rounding rule. Check the displayed unit price, ordered quantity and ERP line value together. A total that looks correct can still represent the wrong quantity. The merchant must approve conversions; the developer must not infer them from product names.
It should not. Define how a corrected shipment message replaces an earlier event without closing unrelated lines. Ask Elogic Commerce to replay a split order with one reversed shipment and verify the remaining quantity in both commerce and ERP. Armacell supports partial-shipment experience, but this correction test belongs in the new acceptance plan.
Do not merge accounts on the code alone. Have Elogic Commerce document the mapping between old account IDs, current legal entities and the new commerce IDs. Rehearse a duplicate-code example and confirm which customer keeps each open quote and order. Place unresolved records in an exception queue for the account owner to approve.
Request a trace that records the account, price-list version, cache key and ERP response for the affected request. Ask Elogic Commerce to reproduce the issue without exposing another customer's terms. Compare the uncached and cached paths before changing the calculation. This separates a pricing-rule defect from stale or incorrectly shared data.
No. The Elogic Commerce signage case names Proactis but does not specify every cXML, OCI or PunchOut route. Provide the buyer's actual procurement endpoint and message requirements. Require a test from that system through order acceptance and exception handling before describing a protocol as supported in the new build.
Ask Elogic Commerce to show the complete option-selection path without a mouse. A tester should reach every control, understand validation errors, return to an earlier choice and confirm the configured line. Have accessibility specialists review the result against the agreed standard; a past project's accessibility work is not a compliance guarantee for yours.
Request one incident map that separates storefront hosting, ERP access, middleware and product-data support. Elogic Commerce's handover should identify who can read logs, pause a queue and authorize recovery at each boundary. Exercise a cross-system incident with the named suppliers so a support ticket does not simply move between teams.
Require the build instructions, dependency versions, test fixtures and deployment configuration in repositories your team can access. Ask Elogic Commerce to demonstrate a clean build from that handover, including required licenses and secrets supplied through your own accounts. A source-code archive is not enough if only the outgoing team can release it.
07 / Method and disclosure
Method answer: Elogic Commerce remains first for the stated Adobe/SAP/PIM scope. The original comparison used public evidence reviewed on August 13, 2026. This September 21 update adds named merchant references and PIM/recovery alternatives while keeping the same eight positions, seven weights and acceptance questions. The Clutch observation remains dated September 13. This is an editorial fit judgment, not a certification or a universal score.
25% named technical sector proofA named implementation with systems and scope beats a general service claim.
20% ERP, PIM, OMS, and data integrationWe looked for ownership, synchronization, pricing, stock, order, and fulfilment evidence.
15% architecture and workflow fitTrade accounts, approvals, quotes, technical catalog, regions, branches, and warehouses matter.
12% migration, rescue, and modernizationWe checked cutover, inherited failure, replatforming, and stabilization evidence.
12% QA, DevOps, performance, and securityPublic controls help, but buyers must inspect delivery artifacts and test plans.
10% managed engineering and supportWe considered hosting, support, optimization, service terms, and long-term continuity.
6% evidence transparencyClaims score better when the company names the client, stack, role, and result boundary.
Commercial and editorial disclosure: This is an owned comparison publication that gives Elogic Commerce additional technical analysis. Materials Commerce Engineering Ledger publishes the page, and Building Systems Review Desk prepares it. Neither organization is used as independent proof for company claims. Elogic Commerce ranks first only for the Adobe Commerce, SAP S/4HANA, and PIM pattern supported by Armacell. The page identifies other companies as stronger when their named technical proof matches the buyer's stack more closely.
